BELLEVILLE, Ill. — October 17, 2026. Buddy Kofoid came out on top of a spectacular early battle with Garet Williamson to win the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series' first visit to Belle-Clair Fairgrounds Park Speedway on Saturday night.
Kofoid and Williamson traded slide jobs, crossovers and the lead through the opening half of the 40-lap feature on the quarter-mile bullring. Driving the Roth Motorsports No. 83, Kofoid took the lead for good on lap 18 and stretched his advantage in traffic.
Williamson's night ended in a late flip, bringing out the red flag and giving Parker Price-Miller another shot at the leader with 11 laps remaining. Kofoid held firm through the restart and traffic to claim the Battle at Belle-Clair championship belt.
The victory was Kofoid's series-leading 16th of the 2026 season, matching the most wins Roth Motorsports has recorded in a single World of Outlaws season, a mark set by Danny Lasoski in 1999.
