SAPULPA, Oklahoma — October 13, 2026. The American Sprint Car Series National Tour closes its 2026 season at Creek County Speedway on October 16–17, and both the National Tour and Sooner Region championships remain at stake in the 11th annual Fuzzy’s Fall Fling.

The Friday-night feature pays $4,000 to win, followed by a $10,000-to-win Saturday finale. Factory Stocks and Dwarf Cars will also be on the program.

Hafertepe and Covington Separated by Just 21 Points

Sam Hafertepe Jr. leads the National Tour points standings with 2,998 points, only 21 ahead of Matt Covington entering the final two nights. Hafertepe has six feature victories this year and Covington has two, but Covington's consistency has kept the championship within reach.

The title contenders have already experienced dramatically different fortunes at Creek County. In June's Don Swope Classic, Hafertepe suffered an engine failure while Covington finished second. That history raises the stakes for a weekend in which every position could matter.

Sooner Region Championship Also on the Line

Bradley Fezard of Bonnerdale, Arkansas, leads the Sooner Region by 74 points over Casey Wills and by 81 over Hayden Mabe. Fezard took control of the standings at Creek County in June and will attempt to close out his championship effort at the same track.

Local favorite Blake Hahn arrives with momentum following his 27th career ASCS National Tour victory at RPM Speedway in Texas. Hahn has also won the past two Fuzzy’s Fall Fling Friday openers, making him a major contender for another victory on home-state soil.

Other Points Battles to Watch

Sixth-place Austyn Gossel and seventh-place Cole Schroeder are separated by only six points in the National Tour standings. Schroeder is also positioned to secure the BRODIX Rookie of the Year honor.

Weekend Schedule and How to Watch

Friday and Saturday, October 16–17: Pit gates open at 2 p.m. Central, with hot laps scheduled for 7 p.m. The series press release lists grandstand opening at 5 p.m.; the official event information page currently lists 4 p.m., so fans should confirm the latest gate time with the track. Tickets are available at the speedway on race day.

Racing will be available live on DIRTVision. Visit ascsracing.com for official updates.
