LINCOLN, Ill. — Interest is building for the 2026 DIRTcar Fall Nationals at Lincoln Speedway, with early entries arriving across all five divisions and electric camping availability already beginning to tighten ahead of the October 15–17 weekend.
The three-day event at the Logan County Fairgrounds will feature DIRTcar Super Late Models, DIRTcar Modifieds, DIRTcar Pro Late Models, DIRTcar Pro Modifieds and DIRTcar Stock Cars.
Driver registration has only been open for about a week, but entries are already arriving from Illinois, Indiana and Missouri. The early list includes competitors near the top of their respective DIRTcar national standings, former track champions, veteran racers and first-year drivers.
Early Entry List Begins to Take Shape
Among the early entries is Pro Late Model national points leader Braden Johnson. Pro Modified contenders include Zach Whaley, Drake Compton, Jake Montgomery, Drew Schwartz and Donnie Cheesman.
The Modified field is also beginning to fill out with Ray Bollinger, Brandon Roberts, Austin Friedman and Braiden Keller among the early names, along with veterans Alan Crowder and Mark Voigt.
Camping Demand Already Strong
Interest isn't limited to the pit area. Electric hookup sites at the Logan County Fairgrounds are filling quickly, with Lincoln Speedway reporting only a small number remaining. Primitive camping will also be available for teams and fans planning to stay for the full weekend.
Camping reservations can be made through the Track Enterprises office at 217-764-3200.
Bennett Memorial Adds Friday-Night Money
The weekend opens with practice Thursday, October 15, followed by complete racing programs Friday and Saturday.
Friday night will also serve as the Bennett Memorial for the Super Late Models and Modifieds. Both divisions will race for $50 per feature lap led, creating the possibility of up to $1,500 in additional lap money for a Super Late Model driver and $1,250 for a Modified competitor.
Additional Friday awards have been posted for fast qualifiers, feature winners, hard chargers and tough-luck recipients. Bonus support has come from Penske Racing Shocks, South Shores Auto Service, Milwaukee Tool, Terri and Dan Moore, Deb Zehnacker, Jamie Taylor, Moore Family Store, Auto Meter, KRT and memorial contributions honoring Terry Babb, Russ Anderson and Rodney Morey.
Milwaukee Tool will also have three prizes raffled during the evening.
After Friday's racing, fans, drivers and teams are invited to a post-race party behind the grandstands featuring live music from AllNighter.
Fall Nationals Close Saturday
Saturday will close the weekend with another complete racing program, including the DIRTcar Stock Cars.
With entries continuing to arrive and electric camping space disappearing, teams and fans are being encouraged to make plans early for the October event.
