Florence Speedway Championship Finale Features Modified Points Tie and Dollar Days

WALTON, Ky. — Florence Speedway will close its 2026 season on Saturday, September 19 with a championship-night program and one of the track’s popular Dollar Days promotions.

The season finale will include the presentation of the 2026 track championships across five divisions, discounted concession specials and increased feature purses.

Modified Championship Comes Down to a Tie

The tightest battle is in the Modified division, where Pete Holt and Daniel Dehner enter the finale tied for the points lead at 247 points. Eric Shepherd Jr. sits 17 points behind them in third.

The other division leaders entering the final night are:

• Pro Late Models: Brennen Adkins — 45-point advantage
• Sport Mods: Andrew Corbin — 105-point advantage
• Crown Vics: Brandon Cranmer — 15-point advantage
• Legends: Colton Brock — 18-point advantage

September 19 Feature Purses

• Modifieds: $1,200 to win
• Pro Late Models: $1,200 to win
• G&G Express Sport Mods: $800 to win
• Everstrong Roofing Crown Vics: $400 to win
• Hidden Gem Motorsports Legends: $250 to win

Dollar Days Returns

Florence will also bring back its Dollar Days concession promotion for the finale, with select $1 drinks, $1 food items and $1 beers available during the night.

• Pit gate: 3:00 PM
• Main and back gates: 4:30 PM
• Hot laps: 5:00 PM
• Racing: 6:00 PM
