AMARILLO, Texas — October 17, 2026. Gavin Miller reached a career milestone Saturday night at Route 66 Motor Speedway, earning his first feature victory in the USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car National Championship.
The victory came in the Bomb City 40, a $10,000-to-win stop for the national tour at the Texas dirt oval. Miller started from the pole and converted that opportunity into his breakthrough national sprint car result.
A new name in national sprint car victory lane
Cale Coons brought his car home second, while Justin Grant finished third after starting 11th. Jake Swanson advanced from eighth to fourth and Mitchel Moles completed the top five.
Miller already had a record of success in USAC midget racing. Saturday's result, though, added a significant new achievement in the more powerful non-wing sprint car discipline and marked his first win in this particular national series.
For Pitmark, stories like Miller's are a reminder that a first win — even for a driver who has already found success elsewhere in racing — can mark a major new chapter.
