LAWRENCEBURG, Ind. — October 9, 2026. Jake Swanson waited for his opportunity, then delivered one of the most memorable finishes of the USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car National Championship season in Friday's Greg Staab Memorial at Lawrenceburg Speedway.

Kyle Cummins commanded the early going in the 30-lap feature, leading the first 26 laps. As lapped traffic tightened the battle, Swanson worked his way into striking distance and moved ahead with four laps remaining. Briggs Danner followed into second and launched a last-lap challenge, but Swanson fought back and reached the flag just 0.257 seconds ahead.

The victory was Swanson's third USAC National Sprint Car win of 2026, the tenth of his career, and his first series triumph at Lawrenceburg after several previous podium finishes at the Indiana oval.
