Williams Grove Speedway is set for a high-stakes Friday night of Pennsylvania sprint car racing on September 18, with the Shiloh Paving and Excavating Kevin Gobrecht Classic Challenge headlining a two-division program for the Lawrence Chevrolet 410 Sprint Cars and HJ Towing & Recovery 358 Sprint Cars.
The 410 Sprint Car feature will pay $6,000 to win, but the money on the line could grow even larger for one driver. Friday night’s winner will become eligible for a $3,000 sweep bonus if they can follow it up by winning the Kevin Gobrecht Classic the next night at BAPS Motor Speedway.
A Two-Night Gobrecht Weekend With Extra Money on the Line
The Williams Grove portion of the weekend will feature a 25-lap main event for the 410 Sprint Cars. Beyond the potential $3,000 sweep bonus, drivers who compete Friday at Williams Grove and then race Saturday at BAPS will also have another shot at bonus money.
Three separate $1,000 cash bonuses will be awarded by random draw Saturday night among drivers who compete in both events, adding another incentive for teams taking on the full two-night Gobrecht weekend.
Time trials will carry some extra value as well, with the fastest 410 qualifier earning the $300 Fast Tees Fast Time Award.
Final Dirty Deeds 25 of the Season for the 358 Sprints
The HJ Towing & Recovery 358 Sprint Cars will share the Friday night card with their final Dirty Deeds 25 event of the season.
The 25-lap feature will pay $2,500 to win from a total purse of approximately $11,000, giving the 358 division plenty to race for alongside the 410 Sprint Car program.
