If you’re looking for grassroots racing to watch over the next two weekends, Start2FinishTV sent over a packed slate running from September 18 through September 26.
The schedule stretches across Port City Raceway, I-44 Speedway, Sweet Springs Motorsports Complex and Lake Ozark Speedway, with everything from Jr. Sprints and micros to modifieds, late models and stock cars.
Here’s the Pitmark watchlist.
Friday, September 18 — Port City Raceway
Friday night racing at Port City Raceway features Jr. Sprint, A-Class, Restrictor, Non-Wing and Sportsman.
It’s a straightforward way to kick off the weekend: multiple open-wheel classes, short-track racing under the lights, and another night for the grassroots scene to take center stage.
Saturday, September 19 — I-44 Speedway
I-44 Speedway follows on Saturday with Turf Tire, A-Class, 600cc Mods, Restricted, Non-Wing, Jr. Sprints and Tuners.
That mix should give viewers plenty of variety across the program, from open-wheel racing to the more unconventional classes that make local short-track schedules fun to follow.
Saturday, September 19 — Port City Raceway
Port City is back again Saturday with another card featuring Jr. Sprint, A-Class, Restrictor, Non-Wing and Sportsman.
For anyone who watches Friday’s show, Saturday gives you another chance to follow the same divisions through a second night of racing.
Friday, September 25 — Sweet Springs Stampede, Night 1
The following weekend opens with Night 1 of the Sweet Springs Stampede at Sweet Springs Motorsports Complex as part of the POWRi $uper $eries.
The scheduled classes are Restricted, Jr. Sprints, A-Class and Non-Wing Micros.
Friday, September 25 — Friday Night Karts at Port City Raceway
Port City also has a kart program on the schedule Friday night, putting younger racers and the grassroots pipeline in the spotlight.
That’s exactly the kind of racing worth paying attention to. The drivers filling local fields years from now often start in programs like these.
Friday, September 25 — POWRi StockMod Nationals, Night 1
Lake Ozark Speedway hosts Night 1 of the POWRi StockMod Nationals, with a broad stock-car lineup scheduled to include Late Model, A-Mod, B-Mod, Super Stock, Pure Stock, Midwest Mod and Hornet.
If full-bodied dirt cars are your thing, this is probably one of the most varied cards on the upcoming Start2FinishTV schedule.
Saturday, September 26 — Sweet Springs Stampede, Night 2
The Sweet Springs Stampede continues Saturday with another night of Restricted, Jr. Sprints, A-Class and Non-Wing Micros.
Saturday, September 26 — POWRi StockMod Nationals, Night 2
Lake Ozark Speedway returns for the second night of the StockMod Nationals, again featuring Late Model, A-Mod, B-Mod, Super Stock, Pure Stock, Midwest Mod and Hornet.
Saturday, September 26 — Port City Raceway
Port City’s weekly racing program is also back Saturday with Jr. Sprint, A-Class, Restrictor, Non-Wing and Sportsman.
Saturday, September 26 — I-44 Speedway
I-44 rounds out the slate with Turf Tire, A-Class, 600cc Mods, Restricted, Non-Wing, Jr. Sprints and Tuners.

Why Pitmark is sharing it
Pitmark Racing Co. is built around more than one type of racing. Part of what we want the Racing Culture side of Pitmark to do is make it easier to discover tracks, events, broadcasters and stories worth following.
If a schedule gives fans another reason to watch a local track, learn a driver’s name or discover a class they haven’t seen before, it’s worth putting on the radar.
Support your local track. Support the people covering it. Keep racing visible.
