Effective September 13, 2026
These terms apply when race tracks, leagues, drivers, teams, photographers, videographers, promoters, PR contacts, or other contributors send photographs, video, audio, graphics, race results, press releases, quotes, logos, schedules, written material, or other content (“Submitted Material”) to Pitmark Racing Co. for possible coverage, publication, promotion, or distribution.
1. Authority
By submitting material, you represent that you own it or have sufficient permission from the rights holder to provide it to Pitmark for the uses described here. If a credit or usage restriction is required, disclose it when submitting the material.
2. License
You grant Pitmark a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to review, store, reproduce, resize, crop, caption, format, edit for length or clarity without materially falsifying the content, publish, display, distribute, repost, archive, and promote the Submitted Material through Pitmark websites, social channels, email, video channels, broadcasts, articles, and related editorial or promotional materials.
3. Ownership
You or the original rights holder keep ownership. These terms provide Pitmark permission to use the material; they do not transfer ownership.
4. Credit
Pitmark will make reasonable efforts to honor clearly supplied credit information where practical, but credit is not guaranteed unless Pitmark separately agrees in writing that credit is a condition of use.
5. Editorial discretion
Submission does not guarantee publication. Pitmark may select, decline, shorten, crop, format, correct obvious errors, or remove material in its editorial discretion, but will not knowingly edit a quote or factual submission to create a materially false meaning.
6. Third-party rights
You are responsible for identifying material you do not own, including licensed photography, music, broadcast footage, sponsor creative, or other protected works, and for communicating restrictions before Pitmark uses the material.
7. Takedown requests
A rights holder who believes material was submitted without authority may contact contact@pitmarkracing.com with enough information to identify the material and explain the claimed rights. Pitmark may remove or restrict disputed material while reviewing the request.
8. No guaranteed compensation
Unless agreed separately in writing, Submitted Material is provided without a promise of payment, royalties, or other compensation.
Submitting material to Pitmark after receiving or being directed to these terms constitutes acceptance of these terms.
