This notice explains how Pitmark Racing Co. handles information connected with Pitmark Racing Tools (“PRT”), early access, support, applications, and related Pitmark services. Store purchases made through pitmarkracing.com are also subject to Pitmark’s Shopify store Privacy Policy.
1. Information we may collect
Depending on how you use PRT, Pitmark may collect contact information you provide; account, license, subscription, tester, and entitlement information; support, application, survey, bug-report, and feedback information; device and technical information such as operating system, app version, network information, device identifiers, crash information, log files, and security events; and PRT telemetry or racing-session information reasonably necessary to operate and improve the software, including application performance, settings, session events, feature usage, overlay status, compatibility information, and diagnostics.
2. How information is used
Pitmark may use information to authenticate users and manage access; provide, operate, troubleshoot, secure, test, and improve PRT; communicate about applications, access, updates, support, and service notices; prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access; understand aggregate usage and performance; and comply with legal obligations or enforce agreements.
3. Service providers and sharing
Pitmark may use vendors that provide hosting, cloud infrastructure, authentication, analytics, email, ecommerce, customer support, security, and similar services. Information may be disclosed to those providers as reasonably necessary to provide their services, when required by law, to protect rights or safety, in connection with a business transfer, or with a user’s direction or consent.
4. Retention
Personal information is retained only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected, to provide or secure the service, maintain legitimate business and tax records, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, enforce agreements, or meet legal obligations. Information that is no longer reasonably needed should be deleted, anonymized, or securely archived.
5. Security
Pitmark uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to a small online business and software operation. No system can guarantee absolute security. Users should protect account credentials and promptly report suspected unauthorized access.
6. Children
PRT and Pitmark’s general-audience services are not directed to children under 13, and Pitmark does not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children under 13 through those services. If Pitmark learns that information was collected in circumstances requiring deletion or parental consent, appropriate steps will be taken.
7. Privacy requests
Depending on where you live, you may have rights concerning access, correction, deletion, portability, or certain uses of personal information. Rights vary by jurisdiction and may be subject to legal exceptions. Pitmark may need to verify identity before acting on a request.
8. Third-party services
PRT and Pitmark services may link to or integrate with third-party platforms. Those third parties control their own privacy practices.
